What data do we use?

When you complete the contact form, we receive your company name, contact person's name, business type, city, email address, phone number (if provided) and message. If you email or call us, we use the information you share.

Why do we use this data?

• To answer your question and contact you.
• To discuss which products and delivery methods suit your business.
• To establish and carry out a business relationship if you become a customer.

We do this because you ask us to contact you and because we have a legitimate interest in following up business enquiries. We do not send newsletters without your consent.

How long do we keep your data?

We retain contact form data for up to 2 years after the last contact, unless you become a customer. Customer data is subject to statutory retention periods, such as the 7-year tax record retention requirement.

Who do we share your data with?

We do not sell your data. We only share it with providers that help operate the website and email, such as our hosting and email providers. We agree data security measures with them. If delivery is arranged through a regional wholesaler, we share only the necessary information after discussing this with you.

Cookies and statistics

The catalogue and fonts are loaded from this website. The optional Google Maps embed loads automatically when enabled. Analytics and advertising are enabled by default. Google Analytics loads through Google Tag Manager. You can disable analytics and advertising through the cookie dialog or Cookie preferences. A previous rejection is remembered. We do not send entered names, email addresses, telephone numbers or messages with measurement events. This version contains no advertising tags.

You may access, correct or delete your data. You may also object to its use. To do so, email info@halextrading.eu. We will respond within one month.

Unhappy with how we handle your data? You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
